Jonsson School Celebrates 2017 Graduates

The Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science graduated over 1,400 students in 2017. We captured some of our favorite graduation moments from multiple ceremonies held in both May and December. Congratulations to our 2017 graduates!

The Jonsson School had 929 candidates for its two graduation ceremonies in the spring.
Graham Joshua, pictured here with his parents, earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering in May.
Sanyukta Bihari (right) finished her program in biomedical engineering in the spring. Her friend, Jennifer Burns (left) is a senior in the same program.
Kristen Williams, pictured with her mom, finished her master’s degree in computer science this May.

Ahmad Askarian was among 40 Jonsson School doctoral degree recipients in the spring. Dr. Askarian finished his program in telecommunications engineering.
Grace McFarland was joined by family and friends after she received her bachelor’s degree earlier this year.
Wahab Ayinde was greeted with balloons, flowers and big smiles from his family after walking the stage in May.
Just over 500 students lined up to graduate in the December ceremony.
