Welcome to Jonsson School Advising

NOTICE: We are in the process of improving our advising services by hiring additional advisors and restructuring our advising model for a more specialized approach. We currently have “First Year Here” advisors and “Upper Class” advisors.

Advisors are assigned by the first two letters of a student’s last name and are no longer assigned by majors. While we are in transition, a student may have different advisors as we add new advisors and shift the alphabetical advising assignments. Please return to this page when you need to contact your advisor as your advisor may have changed.

Students in their first year at The University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas or UTD), will be advised by a member of our “First Year Here” team. Students returning to UT Dallas will be advised by a member of our “Upper Class” advising team who work with students from their second year at UTD through graduation. Advisors are listed by teams and then by the first two letters of a student’s last name.
