Internships

The Industrial Practice Programs (IPP) include undergraduate and graduate student participation in cooperative education, internships and curricular practical training (CPT).

Students apply academic theory to practical on-the-job problems while working alongside seasoned professionals. Participation in IPP offers a chance for full-time employment after graduation and for students to earn while learning.

IPP offers workshops on job search, resumes and interview preparation, resume critiques, mock interview practice and advise on career development. We provide CPT approval for Jonsson School international students. For additional information, please email an internship coordinator or call 972-883-4363.

UTD campus uses "Handshake" as an online database to list internship vacancies and student profiles.

To help students in their job search, the IPP office offers opportunities to meet with corporate recruiters and potential employers at intern fairs. Students should consider attending related workshops.
