Alpha Eta Mu Beta+

The University of Texas at Dallas chapter of Alpha Eta Mu Beta (AEMB) aims to recognize those students within the Department of Bioengineering who go above and beyond academically. Once invited by the Department of Bioengineering, AEMB student members have volunteer, research, and networking opportunities within the organization.

American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA)+

AIAA is an aerospace-focused organization that hosts a variety of workshops, talks, and events ranging from aerospace engineering and technology to general engineering technical and career skills. Here is a list of some of the things we do:

Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)+

We’re a team of students with one goal: building a greater, more collaborative computing community at The University of Texas at Dallas. Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES)+

UTD BMES works to provide a fee-free professional organization tailored towards Biomedical Engineering students at UT Dallas. We provide various resources for students in the major such as tutoring and resume workshops, volunteer within the community, and feature alumni guests or bioengineering staff at our monthly meetings to talk about their fields.

Blockchain and Cryptographic Systems Organization+

The UT Dallas Blockchain and Cryptographic Systems Organization connects and trains students with industry professionals and technical workshops so that they can learn more about this rapidly-growing and lucrative field. The club is open to both beginners and experts.

Combat Robotics+

We specialize in designing, building, programming, and testing robots that take place in various combat robotic events. Our student organization will provide members the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals, participate in competitions, and refine their engineering skills.
UT Dallas Combat Robotics has a rich history at The University of Texas at Dallas bringing in 3 national titles in the BattleBots competition in 2007, 2009, and 2011 while also finishing 2nd internationally. The team was also national champions at the RoboGames in 2015 while placing 3rd internationally.

Comet Solar Racing+

We are a new and growing Solar Racing Team part of the University of Texas at Dallas, and the only other Solar Racing team in Texas. With a group of students who are passionate about renewable energy and sustainable transportation. The long term vision of the team is to build and race solar-powered vehicles in various competitions around the world like the Formula Sun Grand Prix, American Solar Challenge, and the American Solar Challenge 2022.

Dallas Formula Racing+

Dallas Formula Racing is a team of dedicated and passionate students who’s focus is competing in the Formula SAE Collegiate Design Series. In addition to designing, building, testing, and racing a formula-style racecar, members are responsible for all aspects of managing the race team, including project management, sponsorship acquisition, finance, marketing, logistics, and more. We recognize the need for students to take the concepts they learn in the classroom and apply them in real-world situations. Our student team members gain critical experience with practical engineering application and solving real-world challenges.

Design Build Fly+

Design Build Fly is a group of RC plane enthusiast focused on designing and building scaled down model airplane to compete in national and international design competition. We focus on hands on academic knowledge and emphasize on every member’s engagement for the club. Join us in our weekly meetings and enjoy a first-hand airplane building experience.

Developer Student Club+

We are a program run by Google Developers. Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) are community groups for students from any academic background in their undergraduate or graduate term. By joining a DSC, students build their professional and personal network, get access to Google Developer Resources and work together to build solutions for local problems in a peer – to – peer learning environment.
