The STEM Stars Summer Camp is a weeklong immersive learning experience designed for children ages 9 – 15. Through hands-on activities in Arduino programming, electronics, 3D design and robotics, students will build real-world inspired projects while developing foundational engineering and teamwork skills.

Camp Structure
Day 1 – 2: Introduction to circuits, coding and Arduino boards.
Day 3 – 5: Team-based project building, testing and
presentation.
Getting Here and Drop Off
Directions from U.S. Highway 75
- Head west on Campbell Road
- Turn right onto Waterview Parkway
- Turn right onto Franklyn Jennifer Drive
- You will reach a four-way stop
- Drop Off location is ECSS 2.102 (Texas Instruments Auditorium), the building behind the sign that reads Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the STEM Stars Summer Camp, students will be able to:
- Design and build basic electronic circuits using breadboard, sensors and LEDs.
- Program Arduino microcontrollers using digital and analog I/O (input and output).
- Understand conditional logic (if/else), thresholds and loops.
- Work with various sensors, light, ultrasonic, sound, month and potentiometers.
- Collaborate in small teams to complete and present a working tech project.
