Cyber Security Research and Education Institute (CSI)

A National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security Center for Excellence in Research, CSI members conduct extensive interdisciplinary research on topics including risk and cost-based security and the cognitive neuroscience aspects of security.

Human Language Technology Research Institute (HLTRI)

HLTRI incorporate activities in a broad spectrum of disciplines such as natural language processing, speech recognition and synthesis, knowledge acquired from texts and information extraction to envision new solutions for human language technology.

Institute for Data Analytics (IDA)

IDA members execute projects in data security, data analytics, benchmarking and data tools across multiple industries.

Institute for Intelligent Energy Systems

Established to create a collaborative environment for energy research and education, the institute received a $1.25 million grant from the Department of Energy in 2010 to explore the use of nanotechnology for energy storage.
