What is the process for applying? | Applications should be submitted online following instructions provided in the announcement. Why should I apply through the thrust? | The scale and complexity of scientific knowledge and methods have significantly advanced in modern times, with team-based research producing greater scientific impacts, innovation, productivity and research than single-investigator approaches, according to research published by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. The research thrusts are designed to support faculty members pursuing maximum impact in solving society’s biggest problems. | X |

In what department will I be evaluated for tenure? | All faculty associated with a thrust will have a departmental home and this is where all decisions will occur.
