The Jonsson School Department of Graduate Recruitment and Student Success
The first week in April (April 1-5) is Graduate Student Appreciation Week, and we want to celebrate you! We are thankful for our graduate students, who make the Jonsson School a better place.
This is a nationally recognized week, the goal of which is to celebrate the important role graduate students play on campus. Thank you for being part of the Jonsson School graduate and professional student population!
When attending events, please bring your UTD ID card.
Apr 1
Headshot Sessions Rescheduled
Get a great-looking headshot photo for your LinkedIn/Connect profiles, other professional use or just for you! Sessions require advanced registration and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Picnic Palooza Lunch
Noon – 2 p.m.
Axxess Atrium
Come enjoy a picnic with food, drinks, and network with fellow Jonsson School graduate students. Food (inclusive of vegetarian options) and beverages will be provided, courtesy of the Jonsson School, while supplies last. Limit one food and beverage item per student.

Bollywood vs. Hollywood Kahoot Trivia Night
5 p.m. – 7 p.m.
ECSW Axxess Atrium
Join your fellow Jonsson School graduate students for a night of fun, networking and unforgettable moments. Drop by between 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to get in the game; registration is not required. Food and beverages will be provided while supplies last.

Desayuno (Breakfast) on the Dean/Raffle Giveaway*
8:30 a.m. – 10 a.m.
ECSW Axxess Atrium
We appreciate our Jonsson School graduate and professional student community. Stop by and grab some breakfast, courtesy of Dean Stephanie G. Adams! We’ll also have Jonsson School swag and information about the extensive resources available to graduate and professional students. Event is come-and-go, and students are limited to one beverage and breakfast item while supplies last.

*Students do not have to be present to win the raffle giveaway but must have attended the event and turned in a raffle ticket.
