Benchmark Classes

Complete at least six of the following eight benchmark courses:

Required Courses

CS/SE 2340 Computer Architecture

SE 3306 Math Foundations for SE

CS/SE/CE 3345 Algorithms and Data Str.

CS/SE/CS 3354 Software Engineering

SE 4367 Software Testing Verification

Complete at least one of the following

CS/SE 4348 Operating Systems Software

SE 4351 Requirements Engineering

SE 4352 Software Arch. And Design

Each benchmark course completed must have a grade of B or higher, and the combined GPA of all benchmark courses taken must be at least 3.5. These are the minimum requirements; low performance in other courses will also be taken into consideration.

Note: SE 6387 (SE Project Core Course) requires:
SE 6329, one of SE 6361 or SE 6362, and SE 6367.
SE 6387 is offered each long semester.
