Comet Robotics at UT Dallas is a student organization promoting robotics at UT Dallas and in the surrounding area through outreach, projects, and workshops. We are a new and growing Solar Racing Team part of the University of Texas at Dallas, and the only other Solar Racing team in Texas. With a group of students who are passionate about renewable energy and sustainable transportation. The long term vision of the team is to build and race solar-powered vehicles in various competitions around the world like the Formula Sun Grand Prix, American Solar Challenge, and the American Solar Challenge 2022.

Dallas Formula Racing is a team of dedicated and passionate students who’s focus is competing in the Formula SAE Collegiate Design Series. In addition to designing, building, testing, and racing a formula-style racecar, members are responsible for all aspects of managing the race team, including project management, sponsorship acquisition, finance, marketing, logistics, and more. We recognize the need for students to take the concepts they learn in the classroom and apply them in real-world situations.
