Accessible Prosthetics Initiative
Our mission is to increase access to prosthetic technologies and care. We emphasize serving populations who do not have access to care through other avenues. API tackles this goal in a holistic manner through community outreach, accessible device design, and educational initiatives.

Alpha Eta Mu Beta Biomedical Engineering Honor Society (AEMB)
Alpha Eta Mu Beta (AEMB) is a National Honor Society designed to recognize and encourage excellence in BME. Students will be notified if they are eligible when within a top percentage of their class and are junior or senior standing. We hope to broaden opportunities for BME students through seminars, lab-like workshops, and mentorship.

Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES)
UTD BMES works to provide a fee-free professional organization tailored towards Biomedical Engineering students at UT Dallas. We provide various resources for students in the major such as tutoring and resume workshops, volunteer within the community, and feature alumni guests or bioengineering staff at our monthly meetings to talk about their fields.

Comet Robotics
Comet Robotics at UT Dallas is a student organization promoting robotics at UT Dallas and in the surrounding area through outreach, projects, and workshops. We’re building a world-class robotics program competing with colleges and universities across the globe in combat robotics competitions and programs like VEX U and Solis Rover Project. With membership open to all students regardless of major or prior experience in robotics, we provide students with the opportunity to collaborate and compete with like-minded individuals to gain experience and refine their knowledge of designing, building, and programming robots.

Comet Solar Racing
We are a new and growing Solar Racing Team part of the University of Texas at Dallas, and the only other Solar Racing team in Texas. With a group of students who are passionate about renewable energy and sustainable transportation. The long term vision of the team is to build and race solar-powered vehicles in various competitions around the world like the Formula Sun Grand Prix, American Solar Challenge, and the American Solar Challenge 2022.

Cyber Defense and Response Unit
The mission of this organization is to foster academic exploration and build a robust community of defense-oriented cyber professionals. We are committed to training the next generation of cyber defenders by offering comprehensive education, training, and hands-on experiences in key areas such as digital forensics, incident response, and cyber defense. Our goal is to equip our members with the skills and knowledge necessary to protect individuals and organizations, while promoting ethical and responsible practices in the field of cybersecurity.

Dallas Formula Racing (FSAE Team)
Dallas Formula Racing is a team of dedicated and passionate students who’s focus is competing in the Formula SAE Collegiate Design Series. In addition to designing, building, testing, and racing a formula-style racecar, members are responsible for all aspects of managing the race team, including project management, sponsorship acquisition, finance, marketing, logistics, and more. We recognize the need for students to take the concepts they learn in the classroom and apply them in real-world situations. Our student team members gain critical experience with practical engineering application and solving real-world challenges.

We are a program run by Google Developers. Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) are community groups for students from any academic background in their undergraduate or graduate term. Girls Who Code
This organization aim to build sisterhood and community with other women at UTD, other universities, and local high schools and middle schools. While honing our computer science skills, we engage with other women to take action, collaborate, create and inspire one another! Our main focus is community outreach and would love for any student at UT Dallas to take part with us in introducing students, especially young women in middle schools and high schools to the ever-growing world of technology.

K5UTD Amateur Radio Club
The K5UTD Amateur Radio Club works to promote amateur radio within UTD and the greater Richardson area. We participate in contests, swap meets, and area radio projects to advance the art, science, and enjoyment of the radio art. We maintain the 145.430- (pl110.9) repeater, and have a shack in the Engineering and Computer Science building on the UT Dallas campus.

“The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) is the professional society of aerospace engineers and scientists. The Student Game Developer Association
It is the primary purpose of the Student Game Developer Association of the unified voice in student dealings with individuals and agencies outside of the Association. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

UTD Wind Energy
We are a UT Dallas student organization focused on training the new generation of professionals within the Green Tech Industries. Within this scope, our mission is to aid in the global and national renewable energy transition and the implementation of equitable and transformative solutions. We actively participate in the U.S Department of Energy Collegiate Wind Competition through our competition team “Comet Wind”, where we compete in the three sub-contests including the design and construction of a small-scale wind turbine.
